The first two cycles of Genre Releases saw 1Forty establish itself as one of the UK’s most promising breakthrough underground Labels. The third cycle aims to see 1Forty cement their position as one of the pioneering Labels shining a light on break through artists pushing them onto their journey as an A List name by featuring on the Label, as well as growing the reputation of their own team of diverse producers such as 9TRANE and Fork And Knife. The 1Forty Takeover with Toddla T in November 2018 on BBC Radio 1 showed the Label is well on the way to top tier status.

This release welcomed YGG’s Lyrical Strally and the Norths most reputable MC, Scumfam’s K Dot on a double header production from 1Forty’s Ali McK and fellow Midlands producer Jhuttz. Instrumentals coming from Arridim and AfterHours. Complex UK Premiered Lyrical Strally’s ‘Grime Street’.
