‘Bully Boy’ brings together two of the Labels newer members in Bomma B following from his massive debut release ‘Ya Fool’ in April alongside K Dot and fellow 0121 MC - Trilla. On production is Prizma who made his label debut in January kicking the labels annual schedule off with Jon E Clayface’s ‘Cold’, however this time Prizma isn’t alone working with fellow Too Much Collective member Muhla. Between the three they have created one of the purest Grime records the label and the scene has seen in recent years.

Bomma B burst onto the scene a couple of years after the StayFresh crew was birthed in 2009 joining the likes of SafOne, Mayhem, Deadly, Pressure, J1 and Raider amongst others delivering a wrath of freestyles, tracks and sets upon the best media channels like Flush Raw, P110, GrimeBlog, JDZmedia and the top radio platforms at the time such as Sian Andedrson’s 1Xtra show and Logan Sama’s AfterHours on Kiss FM which carried through to 2016. At this time there was nowhere in the underground Trilla and Stayfresh could not be seen or heard. Some artists in the crew took some time away from music including Trilla and Bomma until 2019 saw the return of them both with new music and appearing on sets once again like they never left. 2020 they properly announced themselves back to the world with DJ Target welcoming them on to his show for a special 4x4 #TeamTakeover orchestrated by Target and his wife Eva, blowing up the airwaves in the process setting themselves up perfectly to bring 4x4 back in circulation a decade later with none other than one of 1Forty’s previously signed artists and Sheffield's underlying 4x4 pioneers over the past ten years - J69. ‘Ya Fool’ smashed over 100k streams making it one of the most talked about 4x4 records in years.

The talented pair on the production of ‘Bully Boy’ comes from Bristol and Too Much Collective’s core members Muhla and previous affiliate Prizma. As everyone knows Bristol is the main hub for underground 140 music in the UK (outside of London) and thus has an exceptionally strong list of reputable 140 producers, two of which are on show here. Both heavily inspired by the early Dubstep and Grime sound, the two have been producing for over five years. Between them they have released across Low Tide Recordings, L U C Y’s SZNS7N imprint, Siege Collective and 1Forty as well as the Too Much imprint. Muhla has performed at the likes of Deep Medi, Croydub, Eskimo Dance & Keep Hush which has seen the collective secure a residency on Bristol’s new FM station SWU.FM whilst Prizma has worked with the likes of Grim Sickers, Kozzie and 1Forty staple Killa P adding further weight to his own discography.
